DRAWING
Most of my drawings are intuitively created.
I often respond to a memory, an imagined image, or other daily interruptions. The feel of the paper, the smoothness of the pen or other stimuli influence these randomly created works. They are often repetitive pattern making marks that remind me of my embroidery, knitting or other repetitive often monotonous pass times. In the end the marks come together creating unique patterning that may reflect the flora or fauna of the natural world. |
